There are three teams of volunteers we’ll be partnering with for NYC ‘07 – Water Fire Wind:

1. Local Team

The NYC Team is seeking adult volunteers who will partner with us at NYC 2007 by assisting in various areas of the conference around downtown St. Louis. Although the majority of the volunteers will be coordinated through the Missouri and Illinois Districts, volunteers from across the United States and Canada are invited to join us too. Comfortable housing options are available! To become a local volunteer, candidates must complete the application process, which includes a background check, and then seek approval from their District NYI Council. 2. Core Team-FILLED

We are seeking adult volunteers who will commit to working with us in the development of NYC, as well as, during the week of NYC. The adults interested in this level of volunteering will submit an application and references (downloadable from the website www.waterfirewind.com), complete a background check and then be invited to partner with us based on their gifting and the specific volunteer positions needing to be filled.

3. Youth in Mission Intern

Because we really want to make an impact on the city of St. Louis for the long term, we are teaming with Youth in Mission (YIM) to invest in local church youth ministry in the greater St. Louis area for the entire summer of 2007. These students need to apply and will be coordinated through YIM. Not only will YIM Interns be invested in local church youth ministry, but during NYC ’07 – Water Fire Wind, they will join the Core Team as interns. (Click here)
