Who can attend Nazarene Youth Conference 2007?

Anyone who is graduating in 2007-2011. That means those in 8-12th grade this year. NYC ’07 – Water Fire Wind - is a “once-in-a-lifetime” event.

Where and when is it?

Nazarene Youth Conference 2007 is in St. Louis (July 10-15) and will be held at America’s Center and the Edward Jones Dome. This is a perfect facility for a conference such as ours – everything is under one roof, over a million square feet of space!

Why should I go?

This week WILL be a highlight of your life. An environment will be created at NYC ’07 – Water Fire Wind - that encourages spiritual growth, intellectual deepening and authentic relationships. You will meet new friends from all over Canada and the United States; worship with more intensity than ever before; and experience intimate encounters with God.

Who will be there?

Thousands of high school students and youth workers from Canada and the United States.

How do I register to be a volunteer?

To register, candidates must fill out an application; seek approval by the District NYI Council and take part in a background check through the district. Once approved, volunteers will be given a backdoor link by the their district leadership to register.

There is no cost for volunteers and there are options to volunteer for one shift or for the whole week. Information is available here on the schedule and different volunteer teams.

What will I do at NYC ’07 as a volunteer ?

There are 20 different areas to volunteer in at NYC.  You can also volunteer for one shift, one day or even the whole week.  Click here for more specific information on all the opportunities to serve.

How do I get there and where will I stay?

Each volunteer is responsible for their own travel and housing.  When  you register you can choose to stay at Saint Louis University for $39/night/person which includes your breakfast and metrolink pass to the Convention Center.  Volunteers are also responsible for their own meals with the following exception:  If you work as a volunteer through a meal, we will provide that meal for you.
