Who’s excited for NYC? Jana! Hey guys! I’m Jana Burnham and I work in the USA/Canada NYI Office. I started working here a couple months ago, with NYC 07 right around the corner, but it didn’t take long for me to jump on the NYC bandwagon! It’s going to be a blast! From the time you arrive at registration, until you head back home, you will have so many amazing opportunities! Opportunities to serve, learn, worship, play, meet new friends, hang out with old friends – just to name a few.
Now tell me who doesn’t enjoy at least one of those things? No matter who you are or what your interests are, NYC 07 is for you. Plans were made with you in mind! Wanna know what the best part is? God is totally going to meet us there in an incredible way! I want to jump up and down right now just thinking about it. It’s going to be awesome! Lives are going to be changed forever (just like in the Sandlot – FOR-E-VER)!
Think I’m a little crazy? Well, I may be, but I’m not alone. There are people all across the US and Canada (even around the world) who are already praying for this event and have been for months. How cool is that? If your excitement for NYC hasn’t set in, hop to it, ‘cause NYC is only a few weeks away!
Can’t wait to see all of you in St. Louis!
Way too excited to be sitting at a desk all day,
Jana
Oh, and a little warning for you – once you arrive at NYC you won’t be able to stop yourself – you’ll be so excited you probably won’t be able to contain yourself!

Hey Everyone, Let me just say that we're so excited to be a part of NYC this summer...Can't wait to have some hootin', hollerin', hoppin', happy times with You all as we approach the throne of God with confidence. Giving our Father in heaven our praise, adoration, and surrender.
There is always something special about a large group of people joining together to genuinely give back to God in worship and in song. In these times of unity, God loves to restore, heal, and lift us up...So we are anticipating a powerful move of the Holy Spirit at NYC.
We are thrilled to be a part of it. See you there! -Jon from Starfield.

Hey Everyone! My name is Kendall Payne and I am so excited to be a part of the NYC family this summer! I get the honor and privilege to lead you in some worship and sing some of my own songs that will hopefully inspire you in your walk with God. I know there will be many lives changed and we should all come with anticipation of how the Holy Spirit will awaken and refresh each of us in unique ways!
In my youth, camps and conferences played a major role in my spiritual development. Sometimes we need to “get away” from the day-to-day, mundane routine so that we can focus our hearts on what really matters.
I’d encourage you to talk to God, even now, asking Him to use this upcoming week in your life to do something great. I know He won’t disappoint!
See you soon!
Much Love,
Kendall
The OFFICE

Hello from the busy NYC office in Kansas City! The anticipation is building in our staff as we finish-up all of the last minute NYC planning details. We are so excited for July 10th to finally get here!
My name is Melissa Davis and I am from the great Northwest—if you’ve never been there you should go because it is the most beautiful part of the country. Okay, so maybe I’m a bit biased. I graduated from Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, ID, and also just recently from Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO. As a teenager I wasn’t able to go to NYC but if I had gone it would have been in 1995—the year that it was 126 degrees in Phoenix. I am sure that it won’t be nearly that hot in St. Louis—and that is good news for us all.
Did you know that people all over the country (and the world!) have been praying for you as you prepare to come to NYC ’07 Water Fire Wind? Yes, it’s true! I know one lady who has committed her life this past year to praying for NYC. It’s really quite incredible the amount of hours that she has spent on her knees for each of you. I want to challenge you to begin asking God (if you haven’t already), “God, what do You want to do in my life at NYC? How do You want to change me?” This might be a bit scary to pray, but God won’t let you down. You can be assured of that.
I am so excited to see all of you in St. Louis! NYC is going to be such an incredible time…so much fun…so much worship…so much building of friendships that will last a lifetime…so much time spent in the presence of God! Will you be in prayer with us these last few days before NYC starts? We are expecting an encounter with the God of the universe as we converge upon the city of St. Louis. See you there!

What's Good Party People

What’s good party people? ‘
Hope that you are rushing to get your applications filled and working hard on raising the funds. TRUST ME, this will not be one of those events you can afford to miss. I am excited just thinking about it. I’m not talking about the excitement of seeing different artists, or meeting new people, or even hanging out in St. Louis. Naw !!!! I’m talking about cramming a place with spirit filled worshipers and sensing the presence of God in such a way that like Isaiah you’ll say, “…my eyes have seen the king!!!!” (Isaiah 6:5) Nothing more, nothing less, just Jesus.
You might think that my expectations are too high or that I’m asking for more than I can handle, but man, I walk by faith. I’m tired of the thrills, and the goosebumps, I want the real thing. I don’t want the crumbs; I want the bread of life. Feed me, Jesus!!!!!!!!!
If you don’t come expecting, you’ll be content with anything. And that’s the problem, I don’t want just anything, I want more…
“ With every beat my heart makes,
Lord, when you hear it may it sound like your own…”

Come expecting to receive far beyond what you imagined…
